An inexpensive solution for mounting smaller signs.  These powder-coated aluminum pedestals can be secured in place with post hole cement. For larger signs, two or more pedestals can be used.
 
The standard top plate is 6"x6" and the  post is a 2" square tube. The top plate can be customized to accommodate different sizes of sign panel.
 
Posts can be powder coated in a range of colours.
